The center I lead at Harvard University, the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society, works to integrate youth voices in至 our research. Through our Youth 和 Media project, we have partnered with young people, educators, researchers, 和 practitioners 至 design more than 100 educational 至ols to teach 和 engage youth about the digital world. For example, we collaborated with teenagers from a local innovation school called NuVu Studio 至 develop a playlist of learning experiences on licensing, copyright, and best practices for young digital artists 和 crea至rs.
When youth voices have been excluded from past conversations about digital technologies, the resulting policies have been ineffective 和 incomplete.
